'Annie decides to learn to drive. Gail is angry at Elsie\'s interference in her life. She accuses her of being jealous of her youth. Gail walks out of the shop. Annie is annoyed when the regulars hint she\'s too old to drive. Elsie threatens to tell Sylvia Matthews about the affair if he doesn\'t stop it. Deirdre agrees to talk to Gail for Elsie but Gail tells her she\'s only jealous. Roy Thornley\'s wife phones and tells Elsie she and the children will be returning from London in the morning.
