Synopsis
Gold Rush fans are used to miners going to great lengths to strike it rich, but in Discovery's latest spin-off show, White Water, "Dakota Fred" Hurt and his son Dustin are headed deep beneath the water's surface.
In the new reality series, which premieres in January, the father son duo return to McKinley Creek, Alaska, where they've enlisted a team of intrepid divers, mountaineers and bush mechanics to search for gold deep in one of Alaska's wildest creeks.
The location, which only recently became available, is surrounded by white water rapids, forcing the guys to dive into raging torrents. Despite the danger, Fred and Dustin are determined to make a fortune, no matter the risk.

Dustin's new Nugget Creek claim is said to hold life-changing deposits of gold. But Dustin and his crew must survive the most remote and inhospitable corners of Alaska to get it. It's a race to get in the water before Mother Nature lands her first blow.
Season 6 - Episode 3 - Airboat Accident
With vital supplies running dangerously low at their remote Nugget Creek claim, Dustin attempts the impossible. Meanwhile, Kayla tackles the most dangerous diving conditions they've ever seen.
Season 6 - Episode 4 - Dakota Fred Takes Charge
Battling the raging whitewater at Nugget Creek, Dustin and crew must build a safe harbor for their dredge. Meanwhile, legendary miner Fred Hurt returns to help solve the mystery of the pilings gold.
